Experience the Thrill of Shark Cage Diving
This shark cage dive does not require any prior expertise. Since visibility can be poor and eyeball time with aquatic creatures typically lasts only a few seconds at a time, the breath-hold approach is employed. When cage diving, knowledgeable and courteous staff will provide guidance to guarantee you have the best possible shark sighting.
Since many sharks are surface swimmers, boat-based viewing is an excellent option if you don't want to get wet. A 360-degree view is available from the boat's surface viewing platform, while the covered cabin provides shelter from the weather.
Shark, Whale and Dolphin Sightings
Bronze whaler shark (growing to 3.5 meters) can be seen all year round. This species of shark is large, powerful and very interactive, often coming close to cages.
Southern Right whales, dolphins, and many species of sea birds are often encountered on your trip. Whale season is from June to November, while dolphins can often be seen from March to May each year. You will also have close views of the 65 000 strong Cape Fur seal colony on Seal Island during your trip.
